The only thing disturbing my Cornwall tranquility was the constant bleep of the phone as reports from the front were recording try after try in today's thrilling 50 - 34 victory over newly promoted Aberavon Green stars.
Jake Crockett was first over the try line even though the Stars were putting in some resistance with their driving maul. The flood gates then opened with some great interplay between the Robins' backs and forwards bringing another 3 converted tries before half time to turn around with a commanding 31 - 8 half time lead. Liam Richards, Lewis Cox, Josh Key and Scott Gibson putting in strong performances
Another three tries after the restart plus 1 from the Green stars made this a real spectacle for the supporters with Birch in a dominant 50 - 13 lead.
Aberavon to be fair joined in the jamboree towards the end with 3 tries of their own as the game ended 50 - 34 to Birch to maintain their 100% record. Well done lads.
My men on the spot are again spoilt for choice for Mom
