Birchgrove enjoyed another warm up game at home  against Maesteg Celtic and ran up a 50 point to nil victory.

The game was played in 3 sessions of 25 minutes giving both coaches an opportunity to introduce new players and interchange others . The home side obviously looked a far superior outfit than their Division 2 opponents with some scintillating back play bringing a haul of 8 tries and 5 conversions.

Adam Rowlands picked up a hatrick of tries , new centre Curt Davies 2 and one each from Josh key. Lee Harris and Matthew Edwards., who also weighed in with 5 conversions for a 15 point haul.

A more stringent test awaits next Saturday at home when  Division 1 West outfit  Felinfoel will provide the opposition.
